NX Series 4 Control Modes
This product is capable of operation in 4 control modes. Also, the functions of each control mode can be extended using the support software (MEXE02) or the control module (OPX-2A, sold separately).
Position Control Mode
The built-in, high resolution 20-bit absolute encoder enables highly accurate positioning.
High Speed and High Response
Positioning can be completed rapidly due to the high speed and high response characteristics.
- Maximum Speed: 5500 r/min
- Factory Settling Time: 60~70 ms

Damping Control
Eliminates load resonance through potentiometer adjustments. These adjustments can be made easily without cumbersome operations such as searching for the resonance frequency.
<Application Example: Image inspection equipment>
Damping control can be used to reduce the vibration of the camera when it is stopped.

Absolute System
Can be used as an absolute system by using a battery (sold separately). The present position of the encoder can be stored, so resetting after a blackout or similar occurrence is easy.
Speed Control Mode
The reduction of motor cogging torque and the use of a high resolution encoder substantially reduce variation in rotation in the low speed range (the flutter characteristic), resulting in smooth operation even at low speeds. Smooth operation even at low speeds.

Torque Control Mode
Variation of the generated torque relative to commands (torque accuracy) has been improved. As a result, highly accurate torque control is achieved.

Tension Control Mode
Tension control operations such as winding film can be easily performed without using equipment for detection and control of tension.
