Wide Speed Control Range, High Speed Stability
Wide Speed Control Range: 1~4000 r/min
Low speed range from 1 r/min provides stable operation for smoother starts and stops.
Advantages
- Enables smooth and stable operation even when driving around curves at low speeds or near people.
Excellent Speed Stability That Operating at the Set Speed
Speed regulation rate (load) is as small as ±0.01%, allowing operation at the set speed even if the load magnitude changes.
- *±0.2 % at digital setting
Current Position Acquisition and Positioning Operation Available
The current position can be acquired because the motor feedback information improved.
In addition, improved resolution allows you to stop at the desired position.
For example, it enables positioning operation at locations such as charging spots.
- Stopping accuracy during positioning operation is ±0.72° on the motor shaft and 1~2° on the gearhead output shaft.
Gearheads, Wheel Mechanisms, and Control Devices Can Be Selected According to the Application
Various Gearheads and Driving Wheel Motors
The lineup includes driving wheel motor that integrate the motor, hollow shaft flat gearhead, and wheel mounting shaft. It contributes to time saving in axle mechanism design and wheel selection for AGV, AMR, and other transfer robots.

Improved Usability/Recommended Functions
Expanded Allowable Operating Voltage
Advantages
- 24~48 VDC batteries are compatible.
- Does not stop even when battery voltage deteriorates.
Continuous operation while limiting rotation speed and torque.
Power Consumption Reduced by 10 %
Advantages
- For battery-powered transportation robots, the distance and travel time capabilities are extended.
Batteries can be charged less frequently. - Power consumption can be monitored remotely using the support software MEXE02 or RS-485 communication.
This can be used as a guideline for recharging.
Electric Brake Enables Hold During Stops
Holding force is generated when a motor is stopped by exciting the motor (servo-on).
Even motors without an electromagnetic brake can be used as an electric holding brake.
It also a function to hold position so that it does not deviate from the stopping position.
ATL Function Automatically Limits Output Torque
Even if the motor is overloaded, it is equipped with an ATL function attempts to continue operation by reducing the output torque to prevent the motor from stopping due to the overload alarm.
Simplifying the Main Program via Sequence Function
It is equipped with a wide range of sequence functions that can be used during stored data operation, such as linked operation, timer settings between operations, conditional branches, and loop count.
- Number of settings for stored data (Maximum 256 points)
- Number of Direct I/Os (4 inputs, 2 outputs)
- Number of remote I/Os (32 inputs, 32 outputs)
Communication Controls Available: Modbus (RTU), CANopen
The BLV Series R type supports two communication interfaces such as Modbus (RTU) and CANopen.
Main Functions Available in Modbus (RTU)
Freely Create Operation Profiles: Direct Data Operation
This is an operation method that can simultaneously rewrite data and initiate operations with Modbus (RTU) communication.
| Operation Data Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Operation Mode | Sets the operation mode. |
| Position | Sets the target position. |
| Speed | Sets the operating speed. |
| Acceleration Rate | Sets the acceleration time. |
| Deceleration Rate | Sets the deceleration time. |
| Torque Limiting Value | Sets the torque limiting value. |
Different Data Can Be Sent and Received Together for Each Axis: ID Share Mode
This function improves synchronization between axes through Modbus (RTU) communication.
Communication delay between axes is improved because data can be sent and received together to multiple axes.
It is also possible to send different commands to each axis at the same time.
This is Oriental Motor's unique transmission method.
Support Software Compatible
By using the support software MEXE02, it can easily set data, actual operation, or check the status on various monitors on the PC.
Support software can be downloaded from the Oriental Motor website free of charge.
Start-Up Functions Useful for Start-Up the Equipment Smoothly
Simple Settings
Easily set up each communication setting, using "Simple Communication Settings."
Operation Functions Useful for Adjustments
Waveform Monitor
The operating status of the motor (velocity demand value, torque, I/O signals, etc.) can be checked like an oscilloscope.
Waveform measurement results can be saved as an image or in CSV format.
FFT Monitor
Mechanical resonance is visualized through frequency analysis using FFT analysis. Sound and vibration can be reduced by adjusting the "Resonance Suppression Parameters."
Maintenance Functions Useful for Diagnosis and Maintenance
Trace Monitor
The operation status of the motor can be continuously measured for over 24 hours.
Data can be saved in CSV format.
Advantages
- Since data is retained over a long time period, determining the cause of problems is easier.
